The BIZ KIDS of Coquille
This year's program will be on Wednesdays right after school at the Middle School for students in the 5th through 8th grades. We meet in Room 106 from 2;45 PM to 4:00 PM) (Home schoolers are also welcomed), members will learn about personal management, business, finance, technology, etc. Go to www.coquillebk.com for more details. Registration can be done at a workshop. Parents and students are welcomed to monitor the program.

The After School Computer Club

There is now an "Afterschool Computer Club" at Coquille Valley Middle / Intermediate School every Tuesday that school is in session in the Computer Lab from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM. This program is recommended for 5th to 8th graders. We will focus on the basics of technology, learn the programs within Microsoft Word, including: Word for word processing, Publisher for desktop publishing, Excel for spreadsheets,
PowerPoint for presentation, and Access for databases. Registration forms are availaable from the school or from the program instructor.

Great news for you gamers
There is a new store in "The Pony Mall". The "Game Wizard" is a real game store in our neck of the woods. We checked it out on a Friday morning on the way to see a movie and found tons of all kinds of games. Excitement was generated when we spotted the long tables and lots of chairs in the back of the store. A conversation with one of the owners found that he is currently running MAGIC tournaments and wants to start Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon tournaments but needs to find a registered official game organizer and game judge. If you know of someone have them contact the store by calling (541) 751-1948. Stop bye and take a look. Tell them that you saw their information on the CoquilleKids website.
